Current events will take place once a week. Students will be given dates to present their current events during the first quarter. Only about 3-5 students will present per week depending on our topic of study.
During our in-class examples, students circle key words in their newspaper articles to assist on creating a summary. This creates a summary that is both brief and full of useful key concepts from the article.
